Coventry snooker hall death: Tributes to pensioner Patrick Redmond killed by single punchPatrick Redmond, 68, was hit to the floor at a Rileys Snooker Hall in Coventry, just before 11pm on Monday. On Wednesday, a neighbour described the retiree as a “typical English gentleman” who liked classical music and could be “a bit of a party animal”, despite his advancing years. At the neat terraced house where Mr Redmond had lived, in the city’s Coundon area, the blinds were closed but Darren Vickery said he and his wife had lived next door to the victim for nine years and knew him well.
